Hampshire Constabulary has received a number of reports that a number of the fake bank notes have been circulating around businesses in rural Basingstoke.  Some local businesses have fallen foul and become out of pocket by accepting these notes. Officers are telling staff and business owners to check any £50 note by feeling if the note has raised print on it which can signify if it is real or not.
