The Problem
Orla's role was to achieve the same as most companies, to increase sales and limit costs. This meant there wasn’t much left in the budget for new cash counting machines. Orla’s stores deal in small change and notes which take up a lot of counting time for her staff. She purchased low cost, reconditioned machines to streamline their end of the day counting.
